Bowl with High Stem with Mountain Landscape and Birds Design

This bowl with its tall foot may have been modeled after a bowl of the same shape made of wood or lacquer. The bowl was coated with a white slip and then decorated with cobalt underglaze to form a superb example of the underglaze cobalt decorated pottery.
