Aizen Myōō (Ragaraja) is worshipped for translating worldly lust and desire into spiritual awaking, and is shown here with three eyes and six arm in a red, raging facial expression. Judging from the mature form of this type of solid modeling and well balance of the body, this work is considered one of the premier Aizen Myōō figures of the Kamakura period.
